If It Hurt's It Ain't Love

A faith-based teen dating violence prevention and healthy relationship education program designed to equip youth with the knowledge and biblical foundation to build respectful, loving, and Christ-centered relationships. Recognizing the alarming rise in domestic and intimate partner violence, this initiative addresses the issue at its root—by educating young people before harmful patterns develop.

Grounded in Christian principles, this “abstinence-first” model reinforces God’s design for love, respect, and self-worth. The program helps participants understand the characteristics of healthy relationships through the lens of scripture while identifying the red flags of abuse, manipulation, and control. Through interactive workshops, discussions, and mentorship, youth are empowered to make informed choices, set personal boundaries, and develop the confidence to seek and maintain relationships that reflect their faith and values.
